Batman: A Telltale Game Series, Episode 01: Realm of Shadows is a narrative driven Batman game. With a heavy emphasis on the life of Bruce and the impact of being Gotham’s Dark Knight, players will get to make decisions as both Bruce and Batman and see how those choices affect the hero.
Episode one introduces players to a “year one” Caped Crusader. While not the experienced and grizzled Batman fans may be familiar with, he is also not the new vigilante on the block. Players will encounter staple characters such as Harvey Dent, Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Oswald Cobblepot.
Political drama is stirring in a crumbling Gotham. The district attorney, Harvey Dent, is running for the mayor’s office with support from Bruce Wayne. When crime family leader Carmine Falcon gets mixed into the pot, light is shed on both Gotham’s beloved billionaire and its Dark Knight.
